Pearle Vision in Branson, MO is looking for a full time Optical Associate/Optometric Technician to join our team. We will TRAIN the right person for this amazing career in the optical industry. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, detail oriented, reliable, has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a TEAM PLAYER. Our business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am-6:30pm, shift will vary--NO WEEKENDS!! We would prefer an applicant with at least 1 year of Retail and/or Optical Experience. We offer competitive wages with bonus and commission. Most of our employees average $17 - $18 per hour or MORE!! We offer 401K (after 1 year of employment). We also give all full time employees paid holidays and vacation after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling patient's eye exam appointments
- Greeting patients with a positive/friendly attitude
- Checking patients in/out and collecting any applicaple payments
- Accurate Data Entry of patient information and medical history per HIPAA guidelines
- Insurance verification and filing insurance claims
- General housekeeping duties around the office
- Calling/Texting patients for order pick ups and appointment reminders
- Dispensing glasses and contact lenses to patients
- Contact lens training (insertion and removal)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year Retail Sales Experience
- Optical Experience a PLUS!!
- Strong Keyboard, computer, and internet skills
- Keen attention to details
- Ability to Multi-Task in a fast paced work environment
- Strong work ethic
- Insurance knowledge preferred
- Team-player
- Must have great phone and customer service skills
