Job Description:
The Dietetic Assistant is responsible for supporting nutritional care and follow-up for patients while communicating relevant information effectively with dietitians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. This role plays an important part in ensuring patients receive appropriate nutritional support during their stay. The position requires strong customer service skills, a positive and proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare food service environment.

Education:

• Required: None
• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Education in nutrition and dietetics

Experience:

• Preferred: Experience in nutrition and dietetics

Skills:

• Basic reading and writing skills with the ability to perform simple math.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear and concise phone etiquette.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as a team player.
• Ability to move quickly and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
• Strong customer service mindset with a focus on patient satisfaction.
