Who We Need:
- Open Availability: Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- Clear Communicator: Articulate and efficient in relaying information.
- Quick Thinker: Make fast, accurate decisions in emergency scenarios.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure & maintain composure in high-stress situations.
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience working with the public or in a front-facing position.
What You'll Do:
- Answer Emergency Calls: Handle 9-1-1 calls and radio communications for both Police and Fire departments with precision and care.
- Coordinate Responses: Collect and evaluate information to determine jurisdiction, equipment, and personnel to dispatch; provide critical information and support.
- Utilize Technology: Use a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to manage Calls For Services (CFS) and public inquiries.
- Provide support: Offer calm reassurance to callers in distress.

The starting hourly wage is $20.86 per hour and will increase to $21.70 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Please CLICK HERE for compensation/benefits information.
WORK LOCATION:
City of Branson, Missouri. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
ADDITIONAL MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess or be able to obtain MULES & PST1 certification.
- Must be able to attend occasional required off-site training.
- Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
- Tattoos, Scarification, Body Art, and Body Modifications must meet City of Branson Employee Appearance at Work policy located HERE.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
