Deli Attendant

Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide prompt, hospitable service to our guests in a counter service restaurant setting. Assist in the preparation of food and cleanliness of the outlet. Deliver a lasting experience for our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate computerized cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a neat and clean environment throughout work/guest areas.
• Prepare and portion food orders prior to and during service period.
• Adhere to proper sanitation of kitchen facilities and equipment and handling and preparation of food in accordance with local and state health codes.
• Safe use of all kitchen equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate(s) or License(s): Food Handlers Card and Smart Serv alcohol (we supply if not applicable).
• Years of experience: 0.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups
