Taney County Partnership Receives 2026 Excellence in Economic Development Bronze Award from the International Economic Development Council

August 24, 2026 Branson, MO – Taney County Partnership, a public-private partnership committed to strengthening Taney County’s economic vitality, announced today that its website has received a 2026 Excellence in Economic Development Bronze Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The award is for communities that serve a population between 25,000 and 200,000. It will officially be presented at the IEDC 2026 Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA, October 25–28.
Taney County Partnership redesigned its website in late 2025 to create a modern, data-driven digital platform that better supports its efforts to market the region and support economic growth. Working with Golden Shovel Agency, the leading marketing and communications partner dedicated exclusively to economic development, Taney County Partnership transformed a site previously used only by staff into a central hub for business attraction, workforce development, and talent engagement. Using a streamlined design and rich storytelling, the site makes it easier for visitors to navigate resources and take action.
The introduction of advanced tools such as a GIS-powered site selection system, interactive mapping and data visualization, an intuitive workforce platform, and a robust data hub has helped attract an international audience.
